On a whim from a wise captain some waterman and I set off to warm out blood in the tropics of mainland Mexico. Pleasantly gifted perfect waves. We tried our best to please the tired groundswell that so graciously cruised for miles. cheers
So I've been in Mexico 4 days, and have not shot any photos!! I lugged around 45 lbs of camera gear for 10 hours commuting here. With this in mind i went out my last day and shot some images of the surroundings of mainland paradise. Perfect lefts, abandoned hotels, and empty sockets make up this 100 mile bay. Oh yea and lots of crabs in the mangroves on the beach. To bad my counterparts ate them for dinner.
Best Twin Keels Ever! Using his techniques he learned from the legendary skip frye in Pacific Beach Bob shapes some of the most fine tuned wave sliding crafts in the pacific ocean. With his single barrel concave through the tail, 5* adjusted Marine Ply rudders, and hulled out wide point all the way through the nose. You are guaranteed to slide up any floater section and rip through each wall with ease and style of RK.
This is my roomate. He is a painter. He is an Illustrator. He also almost died. Nolan puts my life into check when I'm having moments of naive stupidity, he reminds me that there are precious moments in time that we have to be aware of. Thanks Nolan
On May 5th 2009 we lost a huge influence in the life of Mollusk. Our sacred Turret has been shut down and no longer shall be a creative beacon of the neighborhood. here are some shots i took of the last artist in residence(KYLE FIELD) before the crack down.
On A normal morning commute this week i was fortunate to have stumbled upon Ikor. A gentleman of great Stature all though from the looks of him you would have judged otherwise. Until he commands the air from his 1936 Accordion. Some how the photo gods were upon me because a usually packed union square muni terminal was converted to a one man court for his talent.
